Year 11 Post 16 Pathways and Exams Open Evening at The Market Bosworth School
Thursday 10th October 5.30-7.30pm

The event is targeted at all of our Year 11 students to assist them with their college choices and to provide information on their upcoming exams.

A variety of local schools, colleges and providers will be attending the event to provide information on post 16 courses. Students will have the chance to ask questions about their options after their GCSEs and gain in-depth knowledge on A-Level, BTEC and Apprenticeship courses and what they involve.

In the canteen we will be running an information session on the upcoming GCSE exams starting at 5.45pm. The session will provide information on exam regulations and practice, school support, revision techniques, timings of exams and the overview of the exam timetable.

Following on from the exams information there will be a presentation from ‘Elevate Education’ starting at 6pm. Elevate Education is a 1-1 study coaching program. Parents can purchase and opt into the program and have a coach work with their child at home. The coach will create a bespoke program for the student which spans 4-12 weeks in length to support their learning.

 It will be a fantastic opportunity for all of the Year 11s to have a clear understanding of the courses on offer to them and gain key information on how to prepare for their exams. It will also give them an insight into potential school choices, meet teachers and get a good overall perspective on what the colleges have to offer to suit their needs.

Car parking will be available at the rear of the building and in the bus park on the night.
