There are two trips in Year 10 that run on alternate years:
The Skills Show
This is an annual trip, usually taking place in November, open to all of year 10 and it is hoped that the whole year group attends.
The National Skills Show is a fantastic event showcasing a wide range of career opportunities and further education providers where 'hands on' sessions will be available to students. As well as this there will be the opportunity for students to meet employers to discuss work experience, placements and career options. This will be particularly important as Year 10 students will soon be starting careers interviews and the show should offer them some initial guidance as part of this process.
Students will leave school at approximately 9.00am and will be back in time for the buses. They will need to be in full school uniform and should bring a packed lunch with them.

Performing Arts Trip, London
This trip is open to Year 10 Dance, Drama and Music students and it is hoped all will attend, although it is not compulsory. The purpose of the trip is to experience the West End and give the students a real insight into live theatre, music and stage production. The trip usually takes place during the February half term.
