Work Experience

As part of our careers development programme at TMBS it is a compulsory requirement that all Year 10 students attend a self-placement work experience programme during the summer term.
Work experience is an invaluable part of students’ education, enabling them to develop new skills and to gain experience of the world of work and helping them focus on possible future career pathways, hence this year we have taken the decision to offer this in school time.

The dates students will undertake work experience are: Monday 15th – 19th June 2026

This page will be updated for 2025-26 following the Parent Information Evening, which will take place on 13th November 2025 5.30-6.30pm. More information will be sent out closer to the time.
